Purposes of processing
Personal data provided by the user through the Website will be processed by Alto Giro, S.L. for the following purposes:
- To manage the purchase, payment, invoicing, and shipping of the products ordered.
- To notify users with an active reservation of the launch of the Kickstarter campaign and provide them access to the exclusive reward (“Secret Reward”) they are entitled to under the terms of their reservation. This communication is part of the performance of the reservation service purchased and is sent to all users with an active reservation, regardless of whether they have agreed to receive further marketing communications.
- To handle user queries, incidents, and communications.
- To send marketing communications about products and news, only where the user has given their express consent to do so.
- To manage the waitlist and pre-launch interest registration, where applicable.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations (tax, accounting, and consumer protection).
Legal basis for processing
- Performance of a contract: for managing orders, payments, shipping, and the communications inherent to the reservation service purchased (including notification of the Kickstarter launch and access to the Secret Reward).
- Consent of the data subject: for sending marketing communications and the newsletter.
- Compliance with legal obligations: retention of invoices and tax documentation.
- Legitimate interest: for fraud prevention and Website security.
Data retention period
Data will be retained for as long as the relationship with the user continues and, once it has ended, for the legally applicable limitation periods. As a general rule, data arising from sales transactions (invoices and tax documentation) will be retained for six (6) years, in accordance with applicable tax and commercial law.
Data recipients
In order to properly provide the service, certain data may be shared with the following data processors:
- Payment gateway (Stripe), for processing payments made on the Website.
- Shipping and logistics company, for the delivery of orders.
- Website hosting provider: IONOS.
- Email marketing tool: Brevo, for sending marketing communications and the newsletter, only to users who have given their express consent to do so. Brevo is based in France (European Union), so this processing does not, as a general rule, involve an international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area. The website-behaviour tracking feature offered by Brevo (“Brevo Tracker”) is not currently in use; should it be activated in the future, this section and the Cookie Policy must be updated accordingly.
Alto Giro, S.L. does not disclose or sell personal data to third parties for purposes other than those set out here.
International data transfers
Some of the providers mentioned above (in particular, the payment gateway) may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is carried out subject to the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another valid mechanism).
User rights
The user may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability at any time, by writing to info@e-infinitycamper.com and enclosing a copy of a document proving their identity.
The user also has the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if they consider that the processing of their data does not comply with applicable law.
Security measures
Alto Giro, S.L. has adopted the technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or unauthorized access.
Cookies
The Website uses its own and/or third-party cookies for its proper functioning and, where applicable, for analytics purposes. Before installing any cookie that is not strictly necessary, the Website requests the user’s consent through a settings panel (cookie banner), where the user can accept, reject, or configure their preference by cookie type. Minors
The Website and its services are intended for adults. Alto Giro, S.L. does not knowingly collect data from minors without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
